Vacation Bible School

Each year, St. Peter’s and Bethany Lutheran Churches host a Vacation Bible School (VBS) program that attracts children from New Denmark and our surrounding communities. At this week long event, children are given opportunities to participate in a fun array of games, singing, story-time, crafts, snacks, and live-theatre. For many of those who attend, VBS leaves a lasting imprint of positive memories that help shape the choices that children make and the people that they become. On many occasions, parents inform us that their children are singing VBS songs and reflecting on what they have learned months after the program has ended. From decorating the New Denmark Rec. Centre in an awe-inspiring fashion, to ensuring that every child has a positive and uplifting experience, we take great pride in hosting this annual event!

The dates for VBS 2024 are July 15-19 at the New Denmark Rec. Centre. Closing ceremony will be held on July 21 at 11:00 am. All are welcome!

Welcome Baskets

Once a year, our congregations work in conjunction with community organizations, businesses, and churches to create "welcome baskets" for new members of our community. If you are new to our area (or know of anyone who is new), please let us know using the button below!

Christmas Caroling

Once a year, our congregations travel around the community singing Christmas carols! The date for this fun-filled adventure changes every year, so please keep an eye on our parish calendar.

Both singers and non-singers are welcome to come join us!

Christmas Party
